Our Mission had the opportunity to interview Professor TSURUOKA Michito of Keio University, a leading expert in international politics, European security, and NATO-Japan relations. Prior to joining Keio University, Professor TSURUOKA was employed as advisor for NATO at the Embassy of Japan to Belgium (2005-2008). before the Mission of Japan to NATO was established as an independent entity
 
During the interview, the Professor shared his insight on why it is important to pay close attention to geopolitical developments even if they seem to be taking place on the other side of the world. He explores the complex web of modern international relations, explaining why a crisis in one region inevitably have an effect across the world.
